The Feminist Reading Room is a community for adults (18 and over). By joining you agree to follow the community guidelines.

Your account

One account per person, in your own name and with your own photo. Keep your password safe. We may suspend or remove accounts that break the guidelines. You can appeal through the complaints box.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you write. By posting, you let us show it on the Reading Room. Do not post content you do not have the right to share, and quote books only briefly.

Events

Events need a reservation. Meet only in public venues. Member meetups are hosted by members, not by the Reading Room; take the usual care when meeting new people. CSR events are run by the partner organisation named on the event.

Wellbeing sessions

Sessions with Rafiky are not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call 112. For free 24x7 support in India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416.

Films

Films are embedded from their original source. Rights stay with the filmmakers.
