Until 31 December 2026

A book on your birthday

Every member of the Feminist Reading Room gets a book on their birthday, from Zubaan Books, an independent, women-led feminist publisher. We choose it for you, and send a voucher with delivery paid, so you can order it straight to your door.

A promotional offer until 31 December 2026. Every member whose birthday falls on or before that date gets a book. Join, and share the joining link with your friends before then: after that, birthday books end, and the monthly giveaways and writing contests for students carry on.

In collaboration with Zubaan Books. From October 2026: monthly feminist giveaways and writing contests.

Our prize money goes to Zubaan Books, an independent, women-led feminist publishing house. So each prize puts a feminist book in a student’s hands and supports independent feminist publishing too.
